What Is Dysport®?
Dysport® is an injectable treatment designed to reduce the appearance of frown lines. Like Botox®, this treatment works by preventing the muscle movements that cause frown lines. As a result, the appearance of these wrinkles is greatly reduced. Dysport® is carefully crafted and administered to ensure that results are as natural-looking as possible, preventing the “frozen” look that is often associated with injectable treatments.

What is a Dysport® Treatment Like?
A number of Dysport® injections will be performed in the treatment area(s). This process is virtually painless and takes only a few minutes, so the full Dysport® treatment is completed in less than half an hour.
If you want a nonsurgical way to improve mild, moderate, or severe vertical frown (glabellar) lines between the brows and around the corners of your eyes (Crow’s feet), Dysport is the way to go. Dynamic wrinkles and lines, which are caused by the repeated activation of facial muscles, can arise at any age and make you look angry, unhappy, or fatigued. Dysport is a quick and effective treatment for static wrinkles that does not result in a frozen appearance. The majority of NUSCULPT patients get apparent results 1–3 days after their surgery, which can last up to four months.
Is There Any Downtime After Dysport®?
Dysport® and many other injectables are popular cosmetic treatments because they require absolutely no downtime. Patients are able to return to work and other normal activities immediately after their appointment, making Dysport® a great “lunchtime” procedure.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Dysport®?
After your Dysport® treatment, you will begin to notice results in two or three days. During this time, you may experience mild redness or bruising in the treatment area from the injections. However, these effects will fade on their own within a few days. Dysport® can reduce the appearance of frown lines between the eyebrows for up to four months. After this time, patients can easily receive further treatment to maintain their results.
You may experience light swelling or redness near the injection site after your Dysport therapy, but this should go away within 1–3 days. For the first night, you should sleep upright and use a cold compress as needed. Within 1–3 days, you should notice a reduction in the appearance of your frown lines, resulting in a softer, smoother appearance. These effects should last 3–4 months, and we can administer more injections at NUSCULPT to keep them fresh.

How Much Does Dysport® Cost?
The cost of your Dysport® treatment will depend on the number of injections necessary to deliver your desired results. When you come in for your initial consultation, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that includes the exact cost of your treatment. As a cosmetic procedure, Dysport® is not covered by insurance providers. In order to keep this and other treatments affordable to our patients, we offer financing through CareCredit® and accept all major credit cards.
