What Is Botox®?

What is a Botox® Treatment Like?
A number of Botox® injections will be performed in the area(s) of your choice. This process takes only a few minutes, so the full Botox® treatment is completed in less than half an hour. In many cases, a local or topical anesthetic will be used beforehand to numb the treatment areas.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect From Botox®?
After your Botox® treatment, you will notice results within two days. During this time, you may experience mild redness or bruising in the treatment area from the injections. These effects will fade on their own within a few days, revealing the full results of treatment.
Botox® produces a reduction in frown lines and other forehead wrinkles that lasts up to four months. After this time, patients can easily receive further treatment to maintain their results.

How Much Does Botox® Cost?
The cost of your Botox® treatment will depend on the number of injections necessary to deliver your desired results. Moderate to severe cases may require a varying number of units to achieve desired results. When you come in for your initial consultation, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that includes the exact cost of your treatment.
As a cosmetic procedure, Botox® is not covered by insurance providers. In order to keep this and other treatments affordable to our patients, we offer financing through CareCredit® and accept all major credit cards.
