What is Radiesse®?
Radiesse® is a dermal filler used to plump and lift the skin. It is an ideal treatment option for addressing smile lines, marionette lines, chin wrinkles and other folds and wrinkles around the mouth. Radiesse® provides an instant lift upon injection. Then, as the Radiesse® formula is absorbed by the body, collagen production is stimulated in the skin. This produces long-lasting results that help promote volume in the skin for months to come.
What is a Radiesse® Treatment Like?
A number of Radiesse® injections will be performed in the desired treatment area. This process is virtually painless and takes only a few minutes, so the full Radiesse® treatment is completed in less than half an hour.
Is There Any Downtime After Radiesse®?
Radiesse® and many other injectables are popular cosmetic treatments because they require absolutely no downtime. Patients are able to return to work and other normal activities immediately after their appointment, making Radiesse® a great “lunchtime” procedure.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Radiesse®?
With your Radiesse® treatment, you will notice instant results upon injection. Some patients may experience mild redness or bruising in the treatment area, but these effects will fade on their own within a few days to reveal the full results of treatment. As the Radiesse® formula is broken down by the body, collagen production will increase, maintaining and even improving your results. The results from Radiesse® will last for up to a year or longer.
